Hello, Dear Ajahn Montra,

These photos are for only you what I had gotten from my camera and sent it to you...And thank you indeed for coming our last class and I really appreciate for your teaching.

Well, I wish all of your family and you may be lucky in everything and own peaceful in your family.

OK, I hope to see you again If we have chance one day...

With Regards...

Among many happiness in my life, being a teacher of a huge number of foreign monk students from different corners of the world comes first. The moment that always shines in my mind are during the field trip to Ayutthaya in 2009 and Kao Yai in 2010. And through them, I can always shine.

Any of  you might be a teacher of someone sooner or later, by then you would well understand me when I said "remembering the times we shared in various subjects.." for your heart would repeatedly think of "wishing them every success."

My students are my pride and dignity. They will stay in my memory forever...

 Trip to Wat Yai Chaimongkol

November 30, 2009

The Faculty of Buddhism MCU hosted a half-day Field Trip for the 25 students hoping to expose them to several insightful aspects of Thai society.

The trip centered on visits to Wat Yai Chaimongkol Temple and its school in Ayutthaya province. There were totaling 29 participants including the Second Year Students from Faculty of Buddhism Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Phra Maha Duangdee as the Field Supervisor from Faculty of Buddhism, Phra Maha Nutthanit Sumano as well as Mae Ji Marko as the translator and facilitator from Wat Yai Chaimongkol, and Dr. Montra Leoseng, the lecturer of Man and Society Course.

Among the highlights were the visits to Wat Yai Chaimongkol school and Mae Ji community within the temple. The topics of discussion covered: curriculum development, Buddhism education/project, community participation, social unity, government subsidy and support from Wat Yai Chaimongkol to name a few.

The MCU students also got an introduction to various issues concerning Thai youth such as game addiction, domestic violence, social discrimination etc. In addition to a lecture, MCU students also explored several classes, laboratories and the new library.

A warm afternoon in 2009 has brought one good old day to me and my monks students. I was listening to one of my MCU student, San San Yee from Myanmar - the only woman in the class, with impressions on her learning points. The beautiful green grass and the ancient wall of the great pagoda of Wat Yai Chaimongkol Temple in Ayutthaya beautified our discussion.
